Saint Joseph Community Land Trust will collect the proceeds from these boxes on a schedule acceptable to you. Click here to see a list of participating businesses.

In-Kind Contributions: Saint Joseph Community Land Trust welcomes many in-kind contributions such as office supplies and equipment.

Legacy Giving:

Property Fund. Proceeds from this core fund allow Saint Joseph Community Land Trust to acquire and maintain affordable and moderate-income properties for Lake Tahoe residents. Our properties are available only to area residents and are never used as second homes or vacation rentals. Many government and private housing subsidies and loans require matching funds before they can be used. Your donation, when matched with these funds, helps us leverage every penny to accomplish our important mission in a meaningful way – by permanently acquiring property for the benefit of Lake Tahoe residents.

Another way to contribute to our property fund is to donate an existing house or land to Saint Joseph Community Land Trust.  Our first moderate-income home was constructed on land donated to us from the South Tahoe Redevelopment Agency
SJCLT also accepts gifts of houses or land that are either suitable for affordable or moderate-income housing or that can be sold to generate cash for future development.

Housing and Life Skills Education Fund. Giving to our Housing and Life Skills Education Fund helps Saint Joseph Community Land Trust provide necessary training to Lake Tahoe residents. We want all of Lake Tahoe residents to be successful property owners and renters, regardless if they are seeking affordable housing, and our training programs are designed help make this happen. We regularly partner with local government and organizations such as the City of South Lake Tahoe and Parasol Foundation to provide training. Click here for more information.

Volunteer! Run for a Board position, advisory committee, or volunteer your time and talents in other meaningful ways. We currently need volunteers who can attend public meetings to represent the needs of communities around Lake Tahoe. Contact our office with a proposal and let’s work together to help our neighbors!

Saint Joseph Community Land Trust is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Our Tax ID Number is 65-1166533.

Eight percent of cash donations are directed to our general fund to help offset costs of fund management, and for general expenses.
